The UK’s top dog-friendly beaches have been revealed, with new data from online reviews used to find Brits’ favourites.

The Best Dog Friendly Beaches In Puerto Rico
First place went to Durdle Door beach in Dorset, with a dog rating of 8.85 out of 10. Described as “the perfect beach holiday for dogs and their owners”, the famous limestone arch makes a dreamy backdrop for the fetch game. “. Rating based on over 4,298 reviews of West Country Beach.
Another place on the Dorset coast, Man O’War Beach, came second with 8.3. Also known as East Durdle Door, it’s a shingle beach protected from swells by calm waters – which means a chance to splash around with your dog.
It tied with its base on the Welsh coast, Three Cliff Bay in Glamorgan, as the first sandy beach on the list. Along the beach there are dunes with many places to visit.
In fourth place, 8.2 out of 10, Marlows Sands in Pembrokeshire. Part of a golden beach with stunning cliffs, “a great photo opportunity with your dog,” the report said.

Devon was home to the most dog-friendly beaches on the list, 22 times out of 148 on the list.

Finally, in rivers and large lakes, dogs are allowed in coastal waters. When brought back to shore, the dog must be on a six-foot leash and under the owner’s control.
First Landing State Park allows dogs on its beach as long as it is not a “designated swimming beach” but a multi-use beach.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs are allowed on the north end of the beach above 42nd Street and on the south end in the Sandbridge area after 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
