Plan The Perfect Pet-friendly Road Trip In Points East Coastal Drive
I use this tool regularly to find dog-friendly hotels, dog-friendly campgrounds, and dog-friendly restaurants. and dog trails.
The first thing I do when planning a trip with the dog is to use Google Maps to calculate the driving time and find places to stop.
For example, I only want to drive 8 hours the first day. This is a total of 11 hours on the way, including breaks. Continue selecting destinations and connecting them to the map until you find your destination, which is 12 hours away in Seattle.
I like to be picky about my locations and stops, so I look for dog stores, fun things to see, and places to visit (like dog-friendly parks) along the way.

Bishan – Ang Mo Kio Dog Run, located in the heart of Singapore, has two fenced areas. One is for small and medium sized dogs and the other is for large dogs.
This area is about 2,100 square meters in area where dogs can run freely and safely. There is also a water source for thirsty dogs that need to drink or dirty dogs that need to be washed. Being one of the most popular dogs in Singapore, you’re sure to see a lot of dogs this weekend!
A Guide To Vacation With Your Cat Or Dog
It’s a simple, medium-sized dog park a stone’s throw from Bishan Park Dog Park. There are no watering holes or benches, just bare and fenced lawns. The good thing is that it probably won’t be too crowded.
Reader Dianne Cappelli says Potong Pasir will soon have its own dog run (update: it’s now open)! The picture above is what the dog run looked like when it was built. This is a very spacious area with a manicured lawn bordered by sandy paths. There are also benches where dog owners can relax.

Good news! A new dog run has opened along the waterway in Punggol! It’s a 10-15 minute walk from Waterway Point and the nearest LRT is in Nibong. I think the nearest multi-storey car park is near 313 Sumang Link.

Reader Mel Teo told us that there is an area in Punggol Park where small dogs can run. After playtime, head to Five &2, a certified dog-friendly cafe, for food and drinks.
Located on the quiet side of Sengkang Riverside Park, this is one of the newest dog parks in the Northeast.
This surrounding area has an interesting twist. Unlike the flat land, Sembawang Dog Playground is located on a slope. An incline provides great exercise for your dog. Inside there are tables with benches where you can relax. However, water is not provided in the dog park, so be sure to bring water for your dog!
Reader Erlia Erlia said that the Yishun Park dog run is getting the final touches before it opens [Update: Opened!] There are two small tunnels at the junction of Yishun Central and Yishun Avenue 11.
Holidays With Your Dog
Located in Tiong Bahru Park, this small dog park can be a great place for dogs to play at night. However, some owners said the soil was so muddy it was full of ants and snakes! Be careful when walking your dog.
A hidden gem a short distance from all the hipster cafes (some dog friendly too) and amazing local food, Tiong Bahru Sit Wah Dog Run offers a shaded, spacious area for dogs to run free. Be prepared for mosquitoes though!
A new dog run will open at Sentosa Palawan Beach in August 2023. Your dog can run around without worrying about tripping over someone else’s picnic! You can also organize private events in the Palawan Dog Run. I think it’s very cool!
Opened in February 2022, this dog park has shade trees and several benches to relax while tending to the lawn.
