Worborough Bay is one of our favorite beaches on the Jurassic Coast and a must visit on your camping or motoring holiday in Dorset. Nestled in a secluded spot between Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge, it’s the perfect spot for a beach day with your four-legged friend.
The best way to access Worbarrow Bay is from the car park in Tyneham village – a historic settlement which has remained untouched since it was abandoned during the Second World War. From here it is a 1 mile trail to a beautiful beach where your canine companion can enjoy a swim.
Shingle Beach is quieter than others in the area and is busy even during the school holidays. There is little shade and no equipment, so you should bring a parasol or pup tent if you plan to stay for a few hours.
From the beach you can join the West Coast Trail and explore more of the area on foot. The roads are very steep and demanding.
