Best Dog-friendly Lakes In California
Palm Bay Beach is the most dog-friendly beach near Margate year-round if you want to visit both places together. When we first arrived in Palm Bay it was unclear where you would follow the road to the beach. But seeing the road on the cliff, the beach is all yours. There was plenty of sand to kiss on the beach or the beautiful greyhounds we saw taking photos up and down.
There is free street parking. And there’s a dog-friendly jet ski cafe at the end of the beach.
Just ten minutes’ walk along the coast between Margate and Broadstairs will bring you to Kingsgate Bay, famous for its white cliffs, sea caves and picture-perfect Kingsgate Bay Sea Arch. The tide was still high when we visited. Can’t walk under the arch But it’s still a great beach to visit.
Unfortunately, Kingsgate Bay has no parking. And the access to the beach is a must. The only parking option is the Captain Digby pub (black is only allowed in the beer garden area). It will apparently set you back £20 if you don’t eat right away.
