Dog Friendly Places Near Me Indoor

Dog Friendly Places Near Me Indoor – Love it or hate it, winter can be a tough time of year to be a dog owner in Utah. While there is (mostly) snow to enjoy in the mountains, the cold weather can make it difficult to find other winter activities for your dog in Salt Lake City. Despite the cold weather, many Utah homeowners are surprised to learn that a winter dining area is not at all out of the question.

While most restaurants in Utah close their doors for the winter, there are still some restaurants in Salt Lake City. If you’re looking for brunch, après ski, or just hanging out with friends, these 7 dog-friendly restaurants should be at the top of your list.

Don’t forget to make sure your dog has rabies and a city license before eating! The Salt Lake City Health Department requires all dogs to show two tags when eating in approved areas and you will be asked to provide proof. Coming to Salt Lake City from the other side? Just provide proof of rabies and your out-of-state driver’s license.

Indoor Pet-friendly Korean Restaurant Near Potong Pasir Mrt! #koreanfo…

Located just south of Sugar House on the border of Mill Creek, Brickyard Bar offers a sports bar vibe with a great view of pub food. From smoked trigger meat and cauliflower wings to fried cheese and churros, the menu has something for everyone. Diners can pair their meal with Brickyard’s beer, wine and cocktail menu. Brunch is available on weekends from 10am to 3pm. Their dog-friendly patio was recently expanded to nearly triple the outdoor space. We recommend trying to snag a table with a substantial overhead heater in the closest part of the building.

The closest you can get to an indoor restaurant with your dog is actually Roots Cafe in Cottonwood Heights (not to be confused with the similarly named Roots Cafe in Millcreek). The dog-friendly patio at Root’d creates a shady spot under a roof, but the addition of durable vinyl and warmth make this patio perfect during this season. The focus on health is evident in their farm-to-table cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Root’d serves a fabulous brunch with scrumptious beignets and a fun bucket of bubbles (our personal favorite) accompanied by a bottle of prosecco and 4 freshly squeezed juices of your choice. Space on the patio is limited, so make reservations in advance whenever possible!

A staple of the Salt Lake brewing scene, Fisher Brewing Company has been brewing beer in Utah since 1884. Located in the Granary area, patrons 21 and over can add these hot patio dogs to their winter menu. With over 15 beers on tap most of the time, Fisher is the perfect place to catch up with friends and your dog. In the winter, you can expect their cozy patio to be covered in tents with extra heat around the seating area. In our experience, it makes the outdoor space almost taste like a tap room. Although Fisher Brewing does not produce its own food, a local food truck is on site almost every day for your enjoyment.

Marmalade’s main watering hole, Handlebar, advertises itself as “Salt Lake’s only biker- and mustache-friendly bar,” but you can add dog-friendly to that list, too! Two electric fireplaces and an overhead heater touch the bar to keep the multi-seat cozy even when the temperature drops. Vegetarians and vegans alike will delight in this classic American pub menu that caters to both dietary preferences. Don’t miss brunch – delicious food and mimosas for $2! Handlebar also has the restaurant’s only dog-friendly patio, offering a dog run where your pooch can take a quick break while grabbing another drink or going to the bathroom.

November Adventures With Your Dog: Embracing Autumn’s Cozy Charm

One of the great things about Murray’s Ice Drink is its dog-friendly all-season beer garden. This low-key restaurant, as the name suggests, boasts an extensive German-inspired menu that includes both omnis and side dishes. Where else can you get a vegan corndog? You’ll also find 160 varieties of beer to expand or refine your palette. The Ice House’s large covered patio has overhead heaters, high chairs and is a great option for large groups that need more space. The kitchen is open until midnight every day, and for breakfast every Saturday and Sunday.

Perhaps Salt Lake City’s premier breakfast spot, the Park Cafe now has a hot spot that’s open year-round. Equipped with a fireplace and heater, this cozy space will keep you and your baby toasty this winter. With tight spaces and very long waiting lists (sometimes up to 2 hours on weekends!), we only recommend this dog patio during busy times and days. Combined with a walk around Liberty Park before or after a meal, Park Cafe is a great choice this winter.

Stage Crossing Brewing opened in 2019 and will begin welcoming dogs to their newly expanded location in 2022. For the winter, they added a heated tent to their fireplace so the patio could be used year-round. Their meals include wood, sandwiches and desserts to complement their craft. Hospitality is the foundation of crossbreeding, so your dog knows exactly how to welcome you.

A few kennels we want to mention because they have a heated area if you want to take your dog outside in the winter.

Another great brewery in the Granary District is Templin Family Brewing, better known as TF Brewing. Their large, fenced-in patio is one of our favorite places to walk the dog in the summer, but it can get chilly in the winter unless you bring one of the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. Fires are also often not lit unless requested, so you should find an employee to help you.

A welcoming bar in the downtown Sugar House, Chai Zanti’s patio is open year-round. There is minimal seat cover, but the electronics stand in a good place for use when needed.

The Brook Museum and Art Gallery is open from April to late autumn and dogs are welcome throughout. It is a great museum with many exhibits. My favorite part is the middle of the brook upper where you can walk with your dog through the dragon and there is a lot of glass that is not the same.

Hexham Old Gaol is located in the heart of Hexham town center and is dog friendly throughout. It is open from April to late autumn. The museum is the largest surviving purpose built prison and shows what life was like for prisoners in the 1300s with interactive exhibits as well as exhibits and tours of the dungeons.

Warkworth Castle is one of our favorite places to visit along with Fozzie and Ollie. It’s not big, so it’s not busy, but enough to explore and make it worthwhile. Warkworth itself is very friendly and the castle often hosts special events.
