This place has everything you need for a perfect vacation on 700 acres. From the fields to the pool, you can choose from a variety of activities for the whole family. Pets are not allowed in the pool or guests, but dogs have their own pool – Fanny’s Beach. We were even able to rent a boat and go sailing on the lake with Roscoe! In addition, you can dine at one of the five restaurants on site. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but you are welcome to dine with you in the outdoor seating area of the Moulin Rouge. If you want to have fun without your dog, we also offer dog walking and sitting services.

Field Guide Lodge in Stowe is a charming hotel run by Lark Hotels. Like most of their hotels, their pet policy allows dogs up to 70 pounds for an additional fee of $50 per dog per day. We stayed in one of their three friend cabin suites, which were very spacious and had an outside entrance. You can reserve these suites online, remember to add a message on the check with the number, size and name of your dog. Dogs cannot be left alone in guest rooms. Out of respect for other guests, dogs are only allowed on the balcony and outside the hotel.
This hotel is unique for its beautiful decoration and warmth. The interior rooms are decorated with a rustic fireplace and beautiful rugs, inviting you to curl up with a book or play a board game. You can have breakfast in front of the café bar or enjoy drinks and snacks in the old-school Après only room. The hot water tank needs to be stored first which is a little difficult. But the good thing is that you can guarantee it. And the location is unbeatable. We can walk into town and the bus stops at the hotel. This is the perfect place for you and your little Vermont cook.

Mountain View Farm Inn is a unique location in the heart of eastern Vermont. According to the hotel’s pet policy, dogs will be charged an additional $50 per night in select rooms: Peacham, Danville, N. Danville, Maidstone and Lost Nation. You can book your room online by selecting the “Book” option. The hotel is very friendly, with a golden retriever at the front desk and an animal sanctuary on site. Remember if your dog walks around other animals!
We stayed in a deluxe peach room, which was warm and comfortable. Roscoe likes to sleep in front of the hot stove. In the morning, we enjoyed fresh cookies and coffee in the hotel’s main hall. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat anymore, the owner brought out a batch of his famous pancakes and fresh fruit. We can’t resist.
This historic 400-acre farm on a ridge in the unspoiled Northeast Kingdom is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever lived. It is worth getting up early to see the sunrise, flowing with pink and purple. There is morning air in the mountains and morning fog in the valley.
The Kimpton Taconic hotel in Manchester has one of the best hotel rooms I have ever seen. Everyone is welcome as long as they can get in the elevator! There are no size, weight, breed or pet restrictions, and there are no additional deposits or fees. Just check the pet when booking online and write the pet at check-in.

We stayed in room 904, which is a larger room recommended for large dogs. It is easy to do with Roscoe, and the toilet is in the bottom (but not so). The uniqueness of the hotel will not be for everyone, but it is in a good place within walking distance of the city. The owners are very friendly and recommend local restaurants and things to do in Burlington.
Located between Killington and Rutland in central Vermont, Mountaintop Resort not only allows dogs, it lets them in first. Their pet policy states that dogs are welcome in the hotel’s four apartments and select hotels, with Vermont-made cookies, dog beds and dishes. Each apartment can accommodate up to two dogs. Dogs must be registered at the time of booking.

The rooms are basic but clean and this is one of the cheapest hotels in Stowe. Breakfast is less than the best so go elsewhere for breakfast. However, you can have a drink at the Fritz Bar and sit in a comfortable place with your puppy. You can choose to play board games in the great room of the living room, read a good book in front of the large fireplace, or star gaze outside the fire pit.
