Dogs have been welcome at Exbury Gardens since it opened in 1919. Treat your four-legged friend to a special dog ice cream in the restaurant, walk through our extensive garden with water bowls along the way and even take a ride on the train! Poocha has to take a short cut but there is no limit.

The Brickworks Museum is very dog friendly! As long as the dog is on a leash and well behaved, there are some places they cannot go. There’s even a space inside that isn’t in the cafe so you can enjoy a snack with your canine companion.
All the famous explorers in the Gilbert White & The Oates Collection are great dog lovers and this collection is no different! Dogs are allowed on our 25 acre property on a leash and at all outdoor events. The museum also holds an annual dog show in September to celebrate our four-legged friends.
At God’s House Tower, they love their tribal guests as much as humans! Lead dogs are welcome throughout the site and they are kept hydrated with water bowls located in the lower level café.

In the heart of the New Forest is the Beaulieu National Motorcycle Museum. Beaulieu is an award-winning family day out with something for everyone, even dogs! The Palace House Grounds & Gardens are a peaceful place to stroll with your four-legged friend and even go down to watch the river flow with its stunning views!

The city welcomes dogs on short walks throughout the site, where you can step back in time and visit Stone Age houses, Iron Age round houses, Roman villas and Saxon halls. The farm offers many activities to try and is also home to sheep, goats and pigs (so dogs must be kept under close supervision).
