This residence sits on the banks of the river in the heart of a 6,000 acre estate on the North York Moors. Nature and animals surround you. Go BBQ and put your feet in the river (or dive). There is the pub itself, the Horseshoe Hotel, with a large beer garden and outdoor patio, BBQ and a good beer shop. Just six miles from Whitby and beaches such as Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay for swimming or swimming, dogs are off limits all year round! The boardwalk runs directly to the beach through private property, so you can hop in and out for miles. Your dog will love the comfort of the provided bed, and patiently wait for the natural food – just for them!

The views in and out from the long veranda of the Workshop’s stunning grounds stretch out to the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. The house is spacious, light and airy, with beautiful colors and comfortable seating, solid oak tables (perfect for yoga!) scattered with rugs and a fireplace to warm you up in the evenings. The kitchen is well appointed for home cooking, with a pantry full of appliances to tempt diners to work. BBQ or dine al fresco using the green patio, small but well designed. With so many adventures nearby, there are plenty of things to do with your dog for a while. For a spectacular view, take yourself and your four-legged partner up Little Solsbury Hill.

Three wooded acres in Cwtch, all to yourself. If you’re looking for a place to relax, swing in the hammocks and gather around the campfire, or where the kids can run and play, it’s perfect. The whole place is outdoors, meaning no TV or WiFi, just you and the peace of the outdoors. You can test your skills in the backyard using the BBQ, but there’s also an ice cream parlor if you want a quick cup of tea. The host, Bethan, can suggest trails out of the forest for great walks along the banks of the estuary.
Withywindle, hidden in the Devonshire Forest, a 15-minute walk from the nearest house, is designed to connect your community and help you work together. Lazy afternoons make pizzas in the outdoor crocodile oven, or dine in the nearby fire pit, if the fully equipped kitchen doesn’t require all your meals. There are books to browse and a large outdoor pool to lie back in and read. You can end the day with a quiet little star under the blankets. There are many things to do around Devon and the accommodation is situated between Exmouth and the North Devon coast. Discover nearby hiking trails, and dog-friendly beaches along the boardwalk.
Mill Valley is very different from the outside and small, like a good old camp, but with a bit of creativity thrown in. You will spend a lot of time exploring nature, getting rid of dust and making new friends. while you will meet guests elsewhere, perhaps in one of the churches on the hill, the owners Lisa and Neil and at least two dogs, will be happy to play with you if you bring them. As well as Mill Valley itself, the Cornish coast is your playground, with bush walks, coastal paths and beaches waiting to be explored and country pubs waiting for great food in hidden villages. There is an acre and a half of fenced land to keep dogs off the street, and a kennel ready to welcome your dog when he arrives!
