From 1 May to 30 September, Tenby North and Castle Beach are dog-free. South Tenby Beach is a great place to walk your dog on the sand. There are some restrictions to the left of the South Beach car park, but the rest of the beach is free for your dog to run and play.
Jackson Bay is a dog-friendly beach on Barry Island, but be aware that Whitmore Bay has a no-dogs policy from May 1 to September 30 each year.
There are only seven dog-free beaches in Anglesey. These are; Beaumaris, Benleach, Seamus Bay, Llandona, Llandwyn (Newbra), Port Dufourch and Tredor Bay. These restrictions apply from May 1 to September 30. See Anglesey Council for more information and maps.
