Dog Friendly Fishing Holidays – My family and I are big fans of glamping and short break cottages, so I’ve compiled a list of places to stay on the beach around the UK! Some have hot tubs to relax from a “hard days fishing”.
These are basically places with a private pier or pool where you can fish from the cabin! A few fish on the spot. Full details accompany each offer.

I considered stock and lake size for my top 5 fishing spots. I tried to make a good choice for serious carry, families and luxury. I stayed at Brighton Park Lodges and will try to visit one of the top 5 soon.
Who doesn’t love the idea of sipping on a hot mug after a long weekend of fishing! Listed below are several lodges that offer both fishing and hot tubs. These vary from on-site fishing to baths and private fishing cottages.
Reportable population: Mixed carp and carp, not abundant in these particular lakes, including carp fishing lakes.
York Lodge Holidays Carp Fishing Breaks
Note: Grill pits are found around pleasure lakes, not around carp lakes. Outside wooden sides sleeps 4, cot required.
You should book Willow Plus 6, Holly 7 & 8 or Oak 9 & 10 cabins (according to website) for private hookup and hot tub.
Reported stocks: 17lb by carp site. Good lakes with an average depth of about 3 feet (local angle).
Info: This place is next to 2 other fishing complexes. One of them is a set of 3 lakes. Another is the 2-day entry fee and the rest is the syndicate model kit. Day ticket lake carp up to 25lb+ and cat up to 60lb+.
The Lakes — Tinney Waters
Reported tackle: carp 23lb, tench 7lb, mixed rough. It has a nice looking carpet inside.
Description: More of a family resort with lakeside cabins. You can’t fish from them, but getting the rods is not too far. The structure is good and there is also a syndicate of £195 a year on the water so it shows a good level of fish.
Description: 5 lakeside cottages, all with private balcony, jacuzzi, lakeside. Fishing is done from the private platform in front of the cottage. All sleep 2 with double beds only.
Lake size: 6 game per day Lake, guests can reserve cabins for free (Owner’s license required)
Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park
Stock reported: carp (mainly carp) and a group of fish to match – looks like a good family fishing spot, not serious carp fishing.
Reported stock: Large numbers of carp between 3-6lb are being caught during the summer. Very large vessels can get caught in the float. *
Description: Several cottages around a small lake. It is not a place for serious musicians, but it is recommended for family vacations with good fishing.
Pod/Lodge: A complex of ‘lodges’ with direct access. This is a static caravan.
Stay With Us
A STOCK IS REPORTED: Morris Corp’s stock reaches 24LB. Online photos show fish of this size being caught.
Description: A family park with many hikers and PVC cabins. Some cabins have direct lake access, but we don’t make them completely private.
Description: A place for couples only for peace and quiet. All cottages have a 6-person hot tub and their own fishing area.

Description: There are only a few cabins, but this is one of the few places where you can still stay and continue to capture the 30s and 40s.
Information: More information can be found on their website and it seems easy to call them for a special request for a cottage or lake.

Viaduct Fishery & Holiday Lodges
Info: If you are looking for a corp holiday/glitz, book the main room. There is swimming in the lake which looks like a great place
Lake Size: 3 lakes on site for mixed fishing Full show lake for real carp angles.
Reported population: carp to mid-30s, large rail carp. This is a day trip, so other non-cabin guests will be fishing with you. You can rent the necessary equipment and bait and take fishing lessons on site.
Description: Part of Hoseson’s Platinum Collection, a premium luxury residence. A variety of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are available. It seems like there are hot tubs to relax in for everyone to enjoy watching.
Fishing Holidays In Scotland Near Inverness

Features: There are 5 types of accommodation in cabins and an on-site hotel. None of the logs contain private fishing grounds.
Reported stock: Saks unknown. The lake near the clubhouse is for casual fishing and the far lake is for commercial fishing.
Description: These are high-end deluxe rooms, more suitable for a relaxing vacation than what we would consider a fishing vacation. On site are a sap and 2 golf courses, 2 restaurants and a sports bar.
Fishing Holidays: The Best Places To Stay And Fish On The River Wye
Pod/Lodge: There are cottages and apartments to choose from. My personal favorites are floating cottages like the one below – I love being surrounded by water like this. Ponds are the only lakes where you can catch live fish.
Lake size: There are many lakes in the country. They only fish directly from selected habitats. The site has several lakes where you can fish.
Reported Stock: Carp 30+ depending on the lake. The lakes are suitable for all abilities from beginners to true carp anglers.
Info: It opened in 2022 and is one of the newest places around. Accommodation is of a high standard and surrounded by excellent fishing. If you want to relax or unwind while someone else fishes, there will be a spa on site for summer 2022!
Boating And Fishing In Buttermere Valley
Lake Size: 5 lakes, good carpet and fishing area. A fishing license costs £40 per week or £8.40 per day. There are 71 pins in total.
Description: The luxurious cottage looks like a great place for a family vacation. It is located in a large area with many facilities including a games room and a swimming pool. There is entertainment and a playground for children on site.
Reported population: Lakes, other carp and ponds in the 30s.
Number: There are 6 cabins around the largest lake, 2 on the next lake and 3 below.
Fishing Holidays In Liverpool: Cabin Holidays With Fishing
Lake Size: All 3 lakes are of good size without being too big. Lighter installations work better without leaving too much distance.
Description: An ideal place for a family holiday. The fishing looks good and relaxed. The creeks seem to have plenty of carp and coarse fish. The complex has a restaurant, children’s playground and tennis court. The Devon coast can be reached in around 25 minutes.
Reported population: 40 to 26 pound carp in Cottage Lake, good-sized carp in some other lakes. Cabin Lake is reserved for more serious carp anglers.
Info: They describe themselves as “relaxing lakes and cottages” which sounds great to me! This place is perfect for couples or family gatherings. The cabins look great and there is a restaurant on site where you can eat in or take out. They serve everything from breakfast to pizza, making it the perfect spot for a fishing vacation.
Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages In The Scottish Highlands
Pod/Lodge: 1 room with access to large garden and lake. It is not close to fishing directly from the hotel. The lodge sleeps 4 with 2 double bedrooms.
Reported Stock: Carp up to 60lb The only way to fish this lake as a non-member is to stay at the hotel. There are also Welsh cats up to £100. This is serious ground for carp!
