We just got back from a Eurocamp holiday in Paris with our golden retriever and I think he enjoyed visiting the Eiffel Tower as much as we did! There are many dog-friendly accommodation options such as Eurocamp, which usually have basic and comfortable levels, as well as a choice of cabins and tents.
Once you’ve chosen your Eurocamp park, call the Eurocamp team and add your dog. Please note that at dog-friendly Eurocamp parks, dogs must be on a lead and supervised at all times in the park. Parks may ask you to keep medication records for them.
You can find out more about taking a dog from the UK to France here, but just to add, when we went to Paris recently, the reception team helped us organize to our doctor’s appointment before flying to the UK. It’s also worth asking the reception when you arrive.
La Croix du Vieux Pont is a large Eurocamp park with 623 pitches and is located an hour and a half from the center of Paris and Disneyland® Resort Paris.

The park offers a dog-friendly environment and has plenty to keep families entertained, including four lakes (all-weather shelters) and waterfalls. There is also a beach pool and family-friendly activities on site.
The park is huge with lots of places for dogs to walk in the park. Vic-sur-Aisne is the closest city and there is a bus between Paris and Disneyland® Resort Paris that allows us to go even further (this is pre-arranged by the bus company).
Atlantic Club Montalivet is a large park with 842 pitches on the Atlantic coast. A family and children’s park with a beautiful beach with pools and a wellness area.
There are many food and beverage options including ice cream parlors, bars, restaurants and cafes. The nearest port is Saint-Malo and the nearest town is Montalivet. This park has direct access to the beach.

The park can keep dogs in special kennels, and again, dogs must be kept on a lead near the park at all times.
Club Atlantic Montalivet manages its own children’s clubs and you are welcome to use them during your holiday, however, Eurocamp does not participate in the clubs or the way they are organised, and the quality of the activities in have got.
St Avit Loisirs is a large park with 320 units and we love it here. This park is in the heart of the countryside and is family friendly (we have included this park in our Family Friendly Campsites in France Post). There are six swimming pools and many water slides. There are many other activities such as tennis, trampolining, football, basketball and bowling.
Dogs are allowed in selected types of accommodation in this park (please contact the Eurocamp team if you would like more information about Eurocamp’s dog-friendly accommodation).

A large park near the 434 walls We lived before the disaster and loved the park and the environment. There are many things to do around the nearby town of Saint-Jean-de-Monts.
The park itself is dog friendly and family friendly, and has a large, heated swimming pool.
There is only one thing to note – the park is divided into two parts along the way. Some of our on-site accommodations can be found across the street from major properties.
The beach is pedestrianized and walkable (sunset here). The nearest airport is Nantes and the nearest port is Saint Malo.

We visited Le Pin Parasol in the Vendée before the disaster and we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. We really hope to come back this summer.
Le Pin Parasol is located in the forest on the edge of the lake and is a large park with 512 pitches.
There is a swimming pool, water slides, tennis courts and many things to see and do on the shore of Lac du Jaunay, which is well equipped for fishing or renting a pedalo.
For us, the pool, bar and restaurant areas were amazing and we are excited to be back this year.

Dogs are allowed in any kennel and must be kept on a lead at all times in the park.
Château de Galaure is a small park with 476 plots. It has a beautiful pool with three traditional pools, a sandy beach and a lagoon-style pool with four waterfalls. Many activities are offered for families such as tennis, football, archery, volleyball, bowls and playgrounds. You’ll find a kids club here for kids 4-12 years old.
The park is dog friendly and has a great place to let you bring your fur baby.
There is plenty to see and do for the family, including water slides, horseback riding, bowling, tennis, basketball, soccer and a large swimming pool with bike rentals. There is also a health center that offers a variety of beauty treatments.

There is a beautiful water park with a new waterfall, swimming pool and solarium. There are many activities such as minigolf, volleyball, table tennis and petanque and bocce courts.
The nearest town is Biscarrosse (5.8 km) and the park runs its own children’s club that you can use during your stay for ages 4-6 and 7-10.
If you are looking for a beautiful beach, you will want to visit La Pierre Verte. This Eurocamp park has its own sandy beach and lagoon pool.
The park has a large children’s pool with several pools with slides, spray features and small bucket drops. There are various waterfalls and steps with sun breaks and watching children play.

If you’re looking for a variety of activities, choose from Archery, Badminton, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball and Basketball. The park creates its own group for children from 4 to 17 years old.
La Baie Campsite has 205 pitches and a small park with a nice swimming pool and a children’s club.
Plage de Plouescat is the nearest beach (about 0.26km) and there is a good club for children 4 to 10 that you can use at home.
You can play games such as petanque, badminton and table tennis, and there is a swimming pool with an indoor pool and a separate children’s pool.
