Disney World allowed guests to bring their dogs into Disney World hotels in October 2017, and there are a few important things you should know if you’re planning to bring your dog on your next Disney trip.

The World’s Best Animal-themed Hotels

Four Disney World Resort hotels allow a maximum of two dogs per stay. All puppy guests must be fully informed of vaccinations and owners must provide proof. Outdoor walkways and green areas are easily accessible from the dog-friendly rooms, so your dog can exercise a lot and spend little time. Dogs must be leashed or leashed at all times when not in their room.

All visiting dogs receive a Pluto Welcome Kit, which includes dog-friendly items such as ID tags, puppies, plastic bags, mats, bowls and dog walking maps. Disney does not sell dog food, so you must bring or have dog food delivered.

You must sign a “Pet Agreement” with the hotel and the hotel will pay per night. Some important things to note are that dogs are fully equipped and are not allowed on hotel furniture. The caretaker is only available when your dog is not in the room and must clean when your dog is not in your room.

Dogs can stay in your room for up to seven hours without a problem. If your dog barks while you are not in your room, Disney will ask you to return to your room and calm your dog in your room as soon as possible. If your dog has a problem with disturbing other guests or being mischievous, Disney will ask you to take other measures.

Because managed resorts are often quite popular, there are many dog-friendly areas on the river.

If you prefer to stay at more famous attractions than Value Resorts, this is a great option, especially since the luxury of luxury is equal to the art of animation.

Disney Yacht Club Resort is a deluxe resort, so the resort fee and pet fee are included in the price. The Yacht Club charges $75 per night for visiting dogs.

The Yacht Club only has one dog-friendly area, so you may not have room for your dog to explore like other resorts.

Wilderness campsites are generally the cheapest option for both nightly and pet fees, starting at $5 per night. Dogs are not allowed in pop-up trailers or tents, so an RV is required. Also book a campsite with water, electricity and sewer.

Some of our seniors may remember the days of pet care centers around Disney World. Guests chose hotels to board their pets, and guests could visit attractions such as the Transportation and Ticket Center near the EPCOT entrance or the Magic Kingdom, walk and visit with their pets. every day.

Times have changed, and since 2010, Disney World has partnered with Best Friends Pet Hotel, a full-service pet boarding facility that offers pet daycare services from a few-hour visit to an overnight visit. If you need to leave your dog for more than seven hours or don’t want to leave him in your room for no reason, Disney World Guests is a great option. This pet-friendly hotel is located near Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts.

Pet Friendly Rentals

Hourly rates (up to 6 hours) start at $28, nights at $47, and up to $109 for a VIP deluxe suite if you really want to pamper your pup. And while Disney doesn’t allow cats on any of its Disney World properties, Best Friends Pet Hotel does.

Except as pets, dogs are not permitted in theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, or in public common areas such as restaurants, swimming pools, fitness centers, or playgrounds. Dogs are also not allowed on most vehicles such as rowing boats, Skyliners, Monorails or buses. If you’re taking your dog to Disney World, you’ll likely need to stay at your hotel the entire time.

Dogs are allowed on the Magic Express bus, as long as the passenger brings a dog that fits safely in the seat. However, now that Express Magic will be discontinued in 2022, it remains unclear whether Mears Connect will employ the same strategy. Given that Mears Connect is powered by Magic Express, we can guess that the survey plan will be ready, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
