We love that so many of you are telling us how much you love dog friendly places to go. We love it too! It was definitely a learning curve to navigate with the Duchess. But it meant a lot to us when we were able to take him to family events.
Is Toronto pet friendly? Yes yes! Despite its reputation as a concrete jungle, Toronto is home to many parks. Off-leash dog runs and more, even a grassy urban area like this in Parc y Coleg. There is also a lot of greenery which makes it easy to hang out with your dog.

Cherry Beach Dog Park is amazing and so far the only beach park I know of for dogs.

Black Lab Brewing is a great place to eat and drink on a rainy day in Toronto. Because technically this isn’t a restaurant. (Although food is provided) Dogs are allowed in the house.
I love that Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is dog friendly! They also had small biscuits and a bowl of water at the entrance to the courtyard with a sign saying. “Dogs deserve brunch too.”

We have stayed at the Westin many times over the years. But this past winter was the first time we stayed in a hotel in Ottawa. And dog-friendly, The Westin Ottawa is also a good test for house-training hopefuls. There are many floors and between waiting for the elevator and crossing the street the grass is real, it’s an experience.

We already knew from walking in the Pedestrian Village for years that people like to bring their dogs to Tremblant, but until we became dog parents, We didn’t know that the village liked animals so much until they had stickers that shops could put on them. their doors. I had forgotten how many shops had green hearts on them. This is considered to be the rule rather than the exception.
The summer will be a real test for Tremblant when we no longer have puppies. and you can go for a walk And maybe even try cycling with the Duchess. And to the restaurants… Although we have no problem keeping the Duchess exercised and mentally stimulated, we were surprised to find an outdoor shop (Lucille’s), which was confusing regarding the pet policy

We’d like to introduce the Duchess to our longtime favorite mountain retreat The Fairmont Tremblant is one of three friendly hotels in the pedestrian village of Mont-Tremblant It’s the only ski-in/ski-out property.
And they love dogs! (Actually, they had house dogs and had their own dog house in the living room.)
I will only give a brief overview of the Fairmont in this post, as I have a review of the recently renovated and expanded Fairmont Tremblant as well as an overview of the larger hotel. So make sure you check that again.

Pet-friendly Studio Unit In Chinatown, Ottawa (updated Prices 2024)
This is one area where Tremblant can improve his friendship. I’m not sure which restaurant laws in Quebec prohibit dogs.
