👍🏻 The car is very clean, the ride is fast and smooth! It took about 15 minutes, but my girlfriend and I fell asleep very quickly and felt very good…. But when you wake up, you see the beautiful sea view.
🤍 The route between ST John and Lazarus Island is beautiful. The water is clear, blue and the air is beautiful.
Along the way you will see many families having a little picnic there or people in the past fishing!!! In fact, we talked to one of them and he said that there are a lot of fish here and we saw his little fish that he caught. I can’t imagine a big fish LOLOL. So for those who know how to fish, come and see here!!! 😆
📍 At the entrance of the church, there is a bike shop that rents bikes and businesses but I heard that before!!! If you have your own bike, you can take it on a cruise to explore the St John Islands and find the Marine Park Public Gallery. Just a good place for air conditioning and water/toilet refills but no water tank!!! There is a study guide around the lab but it’s so small, to be honest it’s skippable….

🤍 Compared to Khu Su Island, the island is very small. It’s only a 30 minute drive to explore the island if you want to enjoy the beach!! The thing about the beach here is that it’s really nice….it’s different from Lazarous in the sense that it’s a bit clearer with blue water at Lazarous / St Johns but both are very clear which is good I said. 😍😍 Great for taking photos and letting your pet go swimming/swimming/swimming at Kusu beach bc the water level is SUPER LOWWW and it’s safe because the water around it is broken.
There are many more turtles in the famous turtle pond of Kusu, so you have to pay attention to see them!! DEFO MUST CHECK IT OUT 🤩🤩🤩 Many people also come to pray in some mosques there (you can buy incense and candles etc.) but the one that I like the most the simple needs there. Image If you throw a bag and the bell rings and it rings, wishes come true HAHAHA you have to try it!! It’s really fun to plan bc it’s not easy 🫣🫣🫣 Something about January I want to be on the calendar and plan all the trips for the coming year. It’s cold and dark outside, wandering around with a laptop and planning a trip can be very satisfying.

We spent Easter weekend in Semiahmoo in 2019 and I was looking for ways to get back to the beautiful scenery and beach that Lizzie loves to explore. Just a stone’s throw from the Canadian border, the retreat is the perfect base for great hikes and spectacular views of Washington’s North Shore.
