To be honest, even before we arrived at this dog-friendly hotel on the Oregon Coast, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite stays with dogs. Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa is located in Pacific City on the beautiful coastline along the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. When we arrived, the hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The beautiful, updated design, the relaxed Oregon Coast feel, and even how welcoming this hotel is to people and dogs. My only complaint about the hotel is that we didn’t get to explore as much of the Oregon Coast as I had hoped because we loved the hotel so much and didn’t want to leave!

I will also mention that the first night we dined at the dog-friendly Meridian (the on-site restaurant). I was impressed by the luxurious design and delicious seaside food. The second night we enjoyed room service burgers on the balcony while drinking wine and watching the sunset with the dogs. And my friends, it was truly magical.
